Close to Ninety Air Travels Connected to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Came to or from UK Airfields
An investigation has found that nearly 90 flights associated to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein reportedly arrived at and departed from British airfields, with some allegedly carrying women from the UK who assert they were abused by the found guilty sex offender.
Flight Logs Uncover Trail of Travel
The travel manifests were among a trove of legal papers and files made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the last year. The review uncovered 87 flights linked to Epstein – encompassing many that were not previously known – arriving or departing from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Travel
Unnamed “females” were listed among the travelers entering and exiting the UK. Crucially, 15 of these UK flights happened subsequent to Epstein’s 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a child.
“It was ‘shocking’ that there had never been a ‘full-scale UK investigation’ into his operations in the country,” said American attorneys acting for numerous Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
A statement from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. However, that victim has not received any contact by police in the UK, according to her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the Metropolitan police stated they had “not been provided with any additional information that would support reopening the investigation.” They added, “If new and relevant information be brought to our attention, including any arising from the disclosure of documents in the US, we will evaluate it.”
Ongoing Disclosure and Legal Rulings
Proposed legislation to make public every document held by the American government in regarding Epstein passed the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to follow through. A vast number of papers are projected to be released.
Additionally, a US judge ruled last week that the DOJ could disclose evidence from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime confidante, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence over the charges.
